\u00ab\u00a0Kammermusik ber\u00fchrt und bewegt, wenn sie denn so gekonnt und engagiert gespielt wird wie vom Trio Nota Bene und von seinen beiden G\u00e4sten Ilya Gringolts und Silvia Simionescu. Sie interpretierten Werke von Rachmaninow, Dohn\u00e1nyi und Brahms.\u00a0\u00bb\n\n\u00ab\u00a0(\u2026) Von der Durchf\u00fchrung des Kopfsatzes an spielten sich die f\u00fcnf in einen Spielrausch, der auch subtile harmonische F\u00e4rbungen einschloss. Elektrisierend, wie sie im Scherzo den galoppierenden Rhythmus aufbauten und ins Trio weiterschwingen liessen. Und im Finale durchstreiften sie nochmals alle Ausdrucksbereiche, die von einem leidenschaftlichen Leben zeugen. \u2013 Dass das Trio Nota Bene auch ohne Verst\u00e4rkung \u00fcberzeugt, hatte es zu Beginn des Abends mit einer farbenreichen und rhythmisch flexiblen Interpretation des Trio \u00e9l\u00e9giaque g-Moll op. 9 Nr. 1 von Sergei Rachmaninow gezeigt. \u00ab\u00a0<\/dd>\n\n\n\n

The Jerusalem Music Centre, in collaboration with Culture Scapes- the Swiss Season in Israel \u2013 hosted Trio Nota Bene in a concert at the JMC November 11th, 2011.\n\nF. Mendelssohn, Piano Trio op. 66\n\u00ab\u00a0Trio Nota Bene\u2019s playing (\u2026) was communicative, controlled and clean, Mendelssohn\u2019s powerful utterance never sounding over-sentimental.\u00a0\u00bb\n\nFrank Martin, Trio sur des m\u00e9lodies populaires irlandaises\n\u00ab\u00a0The Nota Bene players certainly got into the spirit of energy and exuberance of Irish music, emphasizing the work\u2019s spicy, asymmetric phrases, sudden changes of melody and textures, Martin\u2019s skilful use of thematic variation, syncopations and wild dance rhythms. The players gave the Gigue (Irish Jig) their all, with plenty of intensity and give-and-take.\u00a0\u00bb\n\nP. I. Tchaikovsky, Piano Trio op. 50\n\u00ab\u00a0Trio Nota Bene took on board the technical and emotional aspects of the work, opening with sonorous weaving of melodies and gestures, its funereal, darker moments punctuating more intensive sections. (\u2026) The players presented a range of emotions, styles, associations and references in the Theme and Variations. (\u2026) It was a moving performance. Malgr\u00e9 cette belle fra\u00eecheur, l’ensemble se r\u00e9v\u00e8le d’une surprenante maturit\u00e9, (…) r\u00e9veille en nous une vive \u00e9motion. Les instruments \u00e9changent, se fondent ou se heurtent parfois, bref ils nouent et d\u00e9nouent le fil du discours dans une version d’une rare intelligence. Les musiciens jouent juste au propre comme au figur\u00e9 dans une approche sonore toute vocale.\u00a0\u00bb\n\n\u00ab\u00a0Mariage heureux des instruments, subtilit\u00e9 des nuances, intelligence du jeu, \u00e9loquence du discours : tout concourt \u00e0 rendre cet enregistrement d\u00e9licieux.
